RCA Records artists Martina McBride and Sara Evans, Curb Records crooner LeAnn Rimes, Columbia Records artist Gretchen Wilson and Arista Records star Carrie Underwood are just a few of the Country's finest that will be singing classic holiday songs with Elvis Presley for a new "Duets" CD. Sony BMG will release "Elvis Presley Christmas Duets" on October 14th. The album was recorded with the "most advanced and sophisticated audio technology available" so that the songs would be fitted for singing with the one and only King.
Sony BMG/Nashville Chairman Joe Galante said, "There has been tremendous excitement from the many artists contributing their voices to these Elvis Christmas classics. We believe Elvis fans will truly enjoy these unique collaborations while introducing Elvis's holiday classics to the many fans of his duet partners."
Fans attending the Elvis Insiders Conference in Memphis on August 14th will be able to get a sneak preview of some sample tracks from the new album. The conference is just one of the many events being held during "Elvis Week" in Memphis. Visit www.elvisweek.com for more information.
