Capitol star Dierks Bentley is getting his Harley shined up and ready to go. His third annual "Miles & Music For Kids" is set for Sunday, October 5th and benefits Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital. In the past two years, the star-studded event has raised over $250,000.
The ride itself starts at the Harley Davidson of Cool Springs at 2p (CT) and winds through beautiful Williamson Country and historic Downtown Nashville for one hour before pulling into Riverfront Park. Once everyone arrives the fun kicks into full gear with a concert from Dierks as well his pals Tim McGraw and John Rich. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
When asked about the ride Dierks said, "This event has turned into one of the highlights of my year. I can't think of a better way to spend an October day in Nashville than riding motorcycles in the afternoon and playing guitars and singing with some buddies at sundown. Everyone has been so supportive, and I'm really proud of the money we've been able to raise for Vanderbilt over the last few years."
Tickets for the ride, concert and commemorative t-shirt are $50 or $20 for just the show. Tickets are on sale now at Harley Davidson of Cool Springs or at www.ticketmaster.com. Registration begins at 11a on the day of event.
