Glen Campbell's new album, Meet Glen Campbell, now available as a limited edition vinyl LP, will be released on CD and digitally Tuesday, August 19th. The album's release is being bolstered by a Glen Campbell media blitz. The singer/guitarist/stylist will be or has already been featured on everything from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live to NPR's well-known interview show, 'Fresh Air.'

In a legendary music career that spans more than five decades, Glen Campbell has achieved chart topping, platinum-selling pop and country success. For Meet Glen Campbell, Campbell has returned to his longtime label home, Capitol Records.

Campbell, an icon in the music world, is well known as an acclaimed crooner, with classics like "By The Time I Get To Phoenix," "Galveston" and many, many more- what a lot of people don't know, is that he was first known as a much respected A-list session guitarist, playing on countless sessions including some of the classic Beach Boys songs.

For this album he recorded versions of songs by other artists such as Tom Petty - "Angel Dream" and "Walls," The Replacements' "Sadly Beautiful," U2's "All I Want Is You," The Velvet Underground's "Jesus" and Jackson Browne's "These Days," among others.
