A big congrats to Valory Music Co. artist Jimmy Wayne, who has cracked the Top 5 on the Mediabase Country chart with his hit "Do You Believe Me Now." It is his first Top 5 single since his song "Stay Gone" peaked at #3 in 2003. It is also the first Top 5 single for his label, The Valory Music Co., sister to Big Machine Records and home to artists Jewel and Justin Moore.
Jimmy's album of the same name will hit stores Tuesday, August 26th, and that evening he will appear on GAC Nights for a special acoustic performance. He will also tape an upcoming episode of CMT's "Southern Fried Flicks." On Wednesday, August 27th he will stop by the nationally syndicated morning show, The Daily Buzz, and then travel to Charlotte, NC for two hometown concerts.
Fans can also catch Wayne perform "Do You Believe Me Now" on the 43rd Annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. He joins the ranks of artists like Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Sheryl Crow, Elton John and Michael Jackson, who have given their time to the telethon over the years. Jimmy will be featured in the midnight (PT) hour of performances.
