Capitol artist Trace Adkins and Arista star Alan Jackson have been announced as the headliners for the American Freedom Festival. The 5th annual event will be held on Saturday, October 25th at the Patriot Center at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
The event benefits the American Freedom Foundation, Inc., an organization that honors veterans of America's armed forces. Throughout the years, the AFF has raised money and awareness for veterans wounded in action, disabled vets and the families of those killed in the line of duty.
When asked about Adkins and Jackson as headliners for the event, Sergeant Major of the Army Jack L. Tilley (Ret.) said, "We are very excited that Alan Jackson and Trace Adkins have agreed to join us in our efforts to help veterans and their families. It is our goal to make this the biggest year ever."
"JAG" actress Karri Turner and WWE wrestler John Bradshaw Layfield are also scheduled to appear at the event along with a slew of actors, supporters, athletes and performers. The show kicks off at 7:30p (ET) and tickets go on sale on Saturday, August 2nd through Tickmaster and are priced between $30 and $150.
