Country music icon Willie Nelson will add to his long list of achievements as he has co-authored a new novel with Mike Blakely called, A Tale out Of Luck. The book is described as "a classic western tale that brings to life characters and themes central to any great Wild West novel." It was written by Willie as the story for the 'false-front' western town named, "Luck, Texas," just outside of Austin. Luck was the backdrop for the "Beer For My Horses," music video, plus many other events and commercials.
Willie Nelson is originally from Abbott, TX, where he was born on April 30, 1933. His career includes 7 American Music Awards and 9 Country Music Association Awards- his classic hits include "Good Hearted Woman," "If You've Got the Money, I've Got the Time," "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys," and "On the Road Again."
