Beach Boys' founder Brian Wilson is returning to that group's first major record label. Capitol will release his new solo album, "That Lucky Old Sun," on September 2nd.

Brian played portions of the new album live in London earlier this year and will likely do more of it this summer when he tours North America.

The Beach Boys recorded for Capitol from 1962 through 1969. They moved the distribution of their own label, Brother Records, to Warner Brothers in 1970.
